Western Piedmont Community College facilitates the federally funded ETS Program where the central office is located.

Educational Talent Search (ETS) Counselors have offices located within the eight target schools served by the program. ETS Counselors work with program participants in the following Burke County Public Schools: Draughn High School (DHS), East Burke High (EBH), Freedom High (FHS), Patton High School (PHS), East Burke Middle (EBM), Heritage Middle (HMS), Liberty Middle (LMS), Table Rock Middle (TRM), and Johnson Middle (JMS).
